Chandra Glaeseman
Sculptor Chandra Glaeseman’s work examines the marks that we make. She is interested in the formal juxtaposition as it intersects the arbitrary designs that we make out of necessity. She holds degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and Maine College of Art. Since 2007 she has been interested in the garbage factor. She believes that our effluents, our residue and our waste can provide a holistic portraiture of who we are as a society, and is interested in how the cultivation of these effluents can demonstrate both the problems and solutions of how we are dealing with our waste.
